Common questions
How do I add a mark?
On the grid screen, tap + at the bottom right. Choose a name, then set the position with the arrows or by tapping locate.
How do I give a mark a single-letter name?
In the symbol picker, tap the letter or number and wait about five seconds. Tap a second character straight away for a two-character name such as H8.
Why can't I use a name I want?
Mark names must be unique, so names that are already in use don't appear in the picker. Rename or delete the existing mark first.
How do I load my club's marks?
With :racepro, tap the files button at the bottom left of the grid screen and choose Import. weysail reads GPX, KML and CSV files.
Can I use my boat's GPS?
Yes, with :racepro. Go to Settings and enter the hostname or IP address and port of the NMEA-over-TCP/IP source on your boat's network.
How do I switch to night mode?
Open Settings and choose a theme. Red on Black protects your night vision.
I've got a new phone. How do I get :racepro back?
Sign in to the same Google account, install weysail, then tap Settings → Restore Purchases.
How do I cancel :racepro?
In the app, tap Settings → Manage Subscription. Or in Google Play, go to Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. You keep :racepro until the end of the year you've paid for.
